Mid Carolina Credit Union Promotes Christy Gardner to Mortgage Loan Manager

[Lugoff, SC] – Mid Carolina Credit Union is proud to announce the promotion of Christy Gardner to the position of Mortgage Loan Manager. With over 25 years of experience in the banking industry and a strong commitment to serving both her members and her community, Christy brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to her new role.

Christy’s career spans multiple roles within the financial sector, including teller, loan officer, Senior Branch Manager, IRA administrator, and mortgage lending specialist. For more than 11 years, she has been a valued member of the Mid Carolina Credit Union team, continuously striving to help members achieve their financial goals.

In her new position as Mortgage Loan Manager, Christy will oversee all mortgage loan originations for the credit union. She will also continue to manage IRA transactions and tax reporting responsibilities, ensuring seamless support for Mid Carolina Credit Union’s members.

“I’m excited to take on this new role and explore additional ways to serve our members,” said Christy. “Helping members achieve their dreams, whether it’s buying a home or securing their financial future, is at the heart of what I do.”

Beyond her professional achievements, Christy is deeply rooted in her community. She serves as Treasurer for her church and is a board member of the Kershaw County Kiwanis Club. Her commitment to giving back extends to her personal life as well, where she enjoys hobbies like sewing, embroidery, and canning.
